Springbank Property Description

South Side of Rice Lake near Roseneath - Southern Ontario Canada

You will find us east of Toronto and north of Cobourg on the Trent Canal System. Springbank Cottages has five rental housekeeping cottages with wood stoves, four - two bedroom and 1- one bedroom cottage with three piece baths. Each cottage has deck and gas barbeque, bottom sheets, pillows, pillow cases and blankets. We rent boats and motors, along with a choice of sailboat, paddle boat, canoe or bicycles. Billiard room, children ’s play area available to enjoy.

There are two larger rental cottages - one with electric, the other with oil heat, twin or king size beds are available. Explore towns in the area such as Hastings, Warkworth, Keene, Cobourg, Port Hope, Campbellford, and Peterborough - visit golf courses nearby. Rental rates are from $500 weekly (4 person) and $80 daily (2 person)

200 feet of waterfront with docks and boat launch. No docking charges.

Fishing Guide available - bait sold at nearby Hastings.

Nearby Activities: Casino, Fishing, Boating, Swimming, Walking, Cycling. Billiards, Ping Pong. Sand beach across the lake. Lock at Hastings and at Peterborough (the lift lock). Antique shops and golf courses. The Villages of Hastings, Warkworth, Roseneath, Keene, Alderville (Canadian Indian shop) and Lang Pioneer Village. Cobourg, Port Hope, Peterborough and Campbellford - all worth exploring.

Cabin 3 has a large deck and is suitable for four persons only. It is 90 feet from Rice Lake. Wood stove, 3 piece washroom.
	Cabin 1 has a deck very close to the water, two bedrooms (four single beds) and a pull out. Wood stove, 3 piece washroom. King size bed available.
Excellent swimming area for children. Bring water shoes!
	Directions from Toronto: Take the 401 East to the 2nd exit at Cobourg - Hwy 45. Go north on 45 to Roseneath. 1 mile past Roseneath take Merrill Road (2nd left) and travel to the end. Follow the signs to Springbank. Directions from Norwood: Take Highway 7 to Highway 45 to Hastings and continue through Hastings on Highway 45 to Percy 9th Line. Follow the 9th Line to the end and turn right at the T intersection. Follow the signs to Springbank.
